Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, youâll:
⢠Deliver exceptional patient care with professionalism and compassion.
⢠Welcome and prepare patients for treatment, ensuring comfort at every step.
⢠Conduct initial screenings, review medical histories, and perform cleanings, SRPs, sealants, fluoride treatments, and oral cancer screenings.
⢠Take and develop digital radiographs and intraoral photos.
⢠Identify and document oral health conditions, such as gingivitis, caries, or periodontitis.
⢠Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
⢠Maintain accurate records and ensure a clean, sterile environment.
⢠Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Minimum Qualifications
⢠Active Virginia license as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
⢠Degree in Dental Hygiene.
⢠OSHA, HIPAA, and BLS/CPR training.
⢠Strong knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, patient screening, and charting.
⢠Experience with digital x-rays, intraoral scanners, and electronic medical records.
⢠Preferred but not required: Anesthesia or Nitrous Oxide Monitoring certification; experience in sterilization or infection control.
